Background

How did you discover your force sensitivity?
He didn't, Master Aurelia did, she was in the same city as him to find another force sensitive when she sensed his connection to the force as he lay unconscious in an alley after a rough fight. His life was in danger so she decided that saving this potential Jedi outweighed the risk of losing track of the other. The force works in mysterious ways after all.


Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.
When he was growing up his parents were both killed in the imperial retaliation against a rebel cell. His parents weren't a part of the rebellion and that lead to a resentment towards both sides in that conflict.


How did you come to join the NJO?
He was found by Master Aurelia after a fight and half dead, it wasn't until much later that he was told what the NJO was and why he was there.


Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival.
His older brother. He's the only family Josef has left and he usually needs Josef to protect him from the local thugs in their city.


Describe a moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.
When Josef awoke in the ship after being nursed back to consciousness if not health, he insisted and made Aurelia turn the ship around to get his brother. It didn't matter how injured he was, or who this person was if he was going somewhere his brother was coming and NOT being left behind no matter what.

Motivation

The NJO has given Josef and his brother a place a to stay and live with little to no repayment from them, as a result he is willing to go through whatever training and adjustments he needs to in order to not mess up that opportunity.

Bravery– The character’s bravery is quite remarkable, he is always willing to take risks to help others

Description

Josef Or Joe as he prefers, is a stubborn and often hard headed Cerean man. Despite his rough and often abrasive personality those that he trusts get to see him as a stalwart protector. Physically, he is a towering 6'11" with a bulky frame and the muscle to match. He keeps his head shaven and a bit of a beard that he dyes white to make himself look older.

He is a young adult but even he doesn't know his age.


Duty 14- Teaching: Josef is more than happy to teach other learners and padawans the "correct" way of doing most things. After all he understands the finer details they don't, otherwise they'd be doing it his way to begin with.

Obligation 10- Family: Josef has an older brother, Joseph who means the world to him and whom he will never let harm befall. Should anything bad ever happen to Joseph, Josef will stop at nothing to make sure the persons responsible understand how much they fucked up.
