Stim Application 1 The character may take the Stim Application action. To perform this action, they must have access to drugs, a medpac, or stimpacks. They make an Average (two purple diamond) Medicine check. If successful, one ally they are engaged with (including themself) increases one characteristic of the character’s choice by one for the remainder of the encounter, and suffers four strain. A single character’s individual characteristics may each only be increased once by Stim Application during an encounter.
Cyberneticist 1 Remove (black square) per rank of Cyberneticist from checks to build, repair, and install cybernetic implants. Cybernetics cost 50% less.

Background

Zala was raised in a fairly rural township/commune of mostly Mirialans (and a good handful of other random species) on Patriim called Andron, and therefore has very little understanding of the greater political and dark/light tensions influencing the galaxy.
Her mentor Gruu Dunrik arrived in Andron when she was 15 and acted as a parental figure as well as taught her about medicine and treating people. After he left Andron five years ago, she took over as Andron's doctor.
She has one family member - an older sister, Anisa (28 years old), who is chronically ill.

Motivation

Zala received a message from/about Gruu and has left Andron to follow that trail. She is also searching for any clues as to the name/cause of Anisa's illness and a cure/treatment.
