Other Notes

- high metabolism & larger than human size; requires 50% more nutrition per day to operate a peak performance long term. lower calorie/nutrient dense food of land dwellers might not suffice as well as stuff from homeworld.
- Custom Oberndorf Mfg. Jägerbüchse blaster K-71L when used by a non-Hapalchlaena gives 2 threat to its check. jezail stock and clearly meant for 4 hands holding it. heavily carved and custom shaped stock and fittings made from bone and other locally sourced materials. higher level of finish work and appearance than most other ones from her "friend". has a properly mounted scope rail but no scope, and some random trinkets she likes hanging from its sling made of locally procured and detail stamped leather. iron sights are in factory condition and inlayed with some small marks of material for seeing them better in low light [of local material as well, maybe just a tiny orbs with some glowing bacteria in it that feed off the natural energy moving thru the metal of weapon and don't need any real maint/upkeep?]

- Hapalchlaena Hunter's armor; defense 1, soak 1, encumbrance 3. When suffering a critical hit, damage the armour by one step. made from monster parts of her homeworld. armor plates from larger fish hunted which are carved then layered and heavier scales woven into areas that need more movement. monster hunter type armor.
- all her species gear is made from monster stuff and other gathered materials. including use of some "silk" from the less active hunter subspecies where needed.
- the moisture regulator suit counts as spacesuit, also has built in translator that works underwater as part of mask, and is only wearable by her species and sized to her. effectively a woven outerlayer sealed catsuit that fits her whole body skin tight except head. the structure of the mask is made from a large fish's skull. sadly it still required offworld made seals and lens/fullface clear plate of some kind and the filters and other stuff are import as well and good quality. the material on inside of tentacles and hands/feet is much thiner and allows for griping things without hinderance as if it mostly wasn't there. is one of the higher end custom fitted/styled ones. character wears effectively tropical beach wear over it when not weaing armor. thing light flowing long skirt with the hanging around lower back and only on arms blouse thingy. does keep the front V open quite a bit because she finds it too constricting in that area for casual wear but will close it fully when wearing armor over it.
