Background

Raised on Mandalore under Clan Rook in House Kast in 28 BBY. Ad'mar witnessed the rise and fall of Death Watch and Maul's short reign. At the young age of 6 his talents in smithing were recognized and he was admitted to begin training under the head forge master of House Kast immediately. He found that he enjoyed crafting droids, speeder bikes, and computer systems but he excelled, unnaturally, at designing armor.
On his 10th birthday a peculiar senator made contact with the young Ademar. The aging politician commissioned him to design and build a suit of armor, one rather peculiar. It was meant to allow the wearer great feats but it was meant to test the human inside by inflicting pain and maximum levels of discomfort. If the wearer was a Jedi then it would allow them to survive in space and bolster their force abilities.
After the Empire took over Ad'Mar heard from the senator and was requested that he modify the armor to allow for life support and cybernetics enhancements. The last modification was to add a weakness. Creating armor with a weakness was foreign to Ad'Mar and it felt like failure to the 13 year old.
