Background

Once a financial analyst in the Trade Federation, Pragh Kovhir helped ensure that Separatist war machine was kept well funded during the Clone Wars. However, he was sent to the front lines as punishment for altering the budget to better protect the Neimoidian purse-worlds. There, his impressive analytical skills were put to the test predicting and helping counteract Republic stratagems as they pushed towards the Neimoidian purse-worlds. He began seeing his men as more than just statistics and began caring for the soldiers he was responsible for.

Despite initially successes and promises of being returned to his once-high station, Kovhir made a critical error that lost the Separatist their foothold in the Colonies and destroyed his people’s way of life. After incorrectly predicting that Republic forces would redeploy all their forces to the Outer Rim to focus their efforts on military targets, the Separatists moved to recapture their territory as a massive Republic battlefleet struck at the heart of the purse-worlds.

Most Neimoidian worlds gave in when the Republic began burning their grub-hatcheries, but Cato Neimoidia, headquarters of the Trade Federations, refused to surrender. Ashamed by his failure, Kovhir volunteered to be transferred to Cato Neimoidia to help organize its defenses. Protected by its own fleet, a combination of battle droids and Neimoidian forces were able to hold until the final months of the war, when a Jedi-led task force arrived.

The clones swept through with reckless abandon, not caring about civilian casualties as they destroyed entire cities to root out any vestige of resistance. Kovhir ordered his forces to retreat into the planet’s forest in an attempt to draw the Republic away from Cato Neimoidia’s cities and spare its population further harm while he disappeared off the grid. However, he overestimated the kindness of the Republic’s leaders, and, even after the Separatist movement was effectively decapitated on Mustafar, the newly-formed Empire continued to crush his people under their oppressive heel.

In the months following Kohvir’s disappearance, a mysterious member of the Trade Federation named “Seb Okai” was instrumental in redistributing of its assets when the conglomerate was nationalized by the Galactic Empire after the Clone Wars. As a result, he received special dispensation and was granted a substantial position in the newly-formed Imperial Trade and Commerce Authority. Okai is in reality an alias adopted by Kovhir, who uses his powers to secretly feed the Rebellion with valuable equipment and supplies.

Motivation

Clone Wars Veteran

The horrors of war left Kovhir changed and he came to hate himself, believing that he was personally responsible for his one-proud people’s decline. As a result, he is dedicated to liberating the Neimoidians from Imperial tyranny and has aligned himself with the Rebellion to fulfill his goal.

Duties

Resource Acquisition

Kovhir utilizes his position in the ITCA to effectively steal from the Empire to secretly provide the desperate Rebellion with valuable equipment and supplies.

Description

Pragh Kohvir is an extremely lanky Neimoidian with mottled green-gray skin and crimson eyes usually hidden beneath a pair of data goggles that provided him with real-time holographic displays while also allowing him direct access to computers using a cybernetic implant.

Kohvir wears elaborate Neimoidian clothing whose heavy folds conceal tight-fitting body armor and a military-grade holdout blaster that he rarely has reason to use.
