Background

Born on the planet Phemis, Lydara was always somewhat sensitive to the Force even as a child. When a pair of Jedi came to her planet to hide from the Empire, they saw potential in her when she discovered them in a cave near her home and offered them food. They took her on as a Padawan, and trained her in the Force, going so far as to assist her in making a lightsaber, one they felt comfortable giving her as she showed grace and agility in her fluid movements.

When the Empire came to Phemis to mine the planet's lush resources of Rubat crystals, she hid away in the mountains as the Sith came and slaughtered her family, and both the Jedi. Lost in the mountains, and with no one to turn to, she lived off the land as best she could, staying true to her teachings, meditating on the living Force, and trying to fight back her desire for vengeance, constantly reminding herself that there is no death, there is the Force.

Strength: Compassion
The character cares about the tribulations others face, and wants to help those he comes across. His compassion may lead to self-sacrifice in order to aid those who need it.

Weakness: Hatred
The galaxy can be a cruel and heartless place, and compassion can quickly turn to hatred of the individuals or situations that cause others to suffer. When a character’s mind roils with simmering hatred, that hatred may be all too slow to fade.
