Background
Hugo's past can only be traced back as far as his memory when he was a member of a gang of street thugs. Which one and where are unknown however, as Hugo didn't learn it before his criminal family was wiped out by stormtroopers. Hugo retaliated by tearing the entirety of the Stormtrooper force to shreds. He then sat down and waited until an investigating police force arrived, and he willingly let them arrest him. Hugo was coerced in prison to assist in a jailbreak and has since gone through multiple gang wars, criminal organizations, and even planetary Imperial occupation events. Whether his ability to survive is his physical resilience, the will of the force, or simple cosmic luck is anyone's guess. Regardless, Hugo is a monster of a foe for any opponent to encounter, yet retains his childlike naiveté and simplicity.
Motivation
Ambition: Friendship
Hugo has seen and caused enough death in his life to rival the experiences of war veterans. At this point he wants to keep any more friends he makes. Even if he is a simple being, Hugo is worn out and tired of watching his friends die.
Obligations
Responsibility: Any beings that Hugo encounters and befriends he will seek to protect with his life. He has lost many friends and allies in the past, but that only encourages him to try even harder in the future. To see someone he values die is mind breaking and puts him in a senseless rage.
Description
Most enemies who encounter Hugo only have one impression: wherever his fist landed and how deep it went before they went flying. Hugo is a giant of an Aqualish, nearly the size of some personal vehicles, but unfortunately his stature is inversely proportional to his intelligence. Hugo is dumb enough that some have wondered if he should be considered a sentient being. He is easily fooled, naive, and only the force knows why he's survived this long. Unfortunately Hugo has no concept of deception or even volume control. He shouts whenever he speaks, and attempted whispers are still louder than regular talking volume. People quickly learn not to tell a lie around Hugo if he knows the truth behind it. He'll quickly correct you with the right information, assuming you simply forgot and he's being helpful.
