Droma was born to a poor, nomadic, family of Ryn who went from world to world scavenging and foraging for food and scrap to sell. He was neglected by his parents, who would leave him alone in a park for days at a time, playing with the other kids and living off scraps of food from passersby’s. Once, while playing in the park, climbing trees, he noticed another Ryn sitting alone. Droma had known another Ryn, aside from his parents. They talked and the other Ryn introduced himself as Groass and the two immediately became best friends. They did everything together and, although Groass was a little younger than Droma, they got along famously!

One day however, the two Ryn were celebrating Droma’s 10th birthday when his parents actually came early and picked him up. They took him out to the wilderness to help them forage and keep an eye out. It wasn’t easy either, there were dangerous wild animals who would chase them and poisonous plants he had to distinguish. But he was very good at this job, he did miss Groass immensely however.

But two years later, when Droma had been 12 for a few months, his parents left the ship and came back with Groass, saying this was his brother and that he was now of age to start foraging with them. Droma was excited, naturally, and his brother soon showed his colours as a tactical genius. Groass's sharp mind helped them with their job but he always thought he was destined for something great, so, when he was 13, he joined the Empire under a fake I.D, much to the dislike and distress of Droma. Groass rose very quickly through the ranks in the Empire due to his Ryn agility and his natural genius. By the time he was 14, he was an Admiral, in charge of a whole Starfleet. However, he was killed by some defecting Sith Apprentice. The Empire spun a different story however. They told Groass’s family that Rebels had killed him. Droma left the family immediately, to find and kill as many Rebels as he could. But the first one he came across told him the real story. That there were rumors of an escaped sith who killed the Admiral and escaped the Imperials clutches. Hopeless and depressed Droma didn’t know what to do with his life, until the Rebel asked him to join the Rebellion. He agreed.

Droma was an excellent scout for the rebellion, but the missions he went on became increasingly dangerous to the point where he had no care for his own life. He was honourably discharged and, as a parting gift, was told where he may be able to find that Sith Apprentice...
