Background

Maas grew up on the northern planes of Mustafar, where he tinkered and worked on the droids his father repaired and made. Eventually gaining independence he decided to move off world and explore the galaxy learning how to build bigger and better droids. He failed multiple times his worst failure so far has been ID:10-P, which had sever structural and programming flaws to the point where it deemed itself scrap metal. Shortly afterwards in one drug induced night he created Lævateinn model ID:10-T his mostly resounding success, unfortunately a few things need to be fixed...like its pertinacity to vivisect anything that annoys Mass including a Repulsor Assist Unit that didn't lift things as fast as Maas wished. Anytime Maas creates a new model of the Lævateinn line 10-T challenges it to a fight and then inevitably damages it beyond repair much to Maas's dismay.

Motivation

Motivation: Obsession: The PC has some unhealthy obsession that tends to interfere in his life, whether with a celebrity, a region, a political movement, a cultural icon, or some other facet of society or life. He must pursue this, possibly to the detriment of his health, finances, or well-being. A character with this Obligation tends to get along well with others that share his interest, but is looked at with pity, amusement, or even a bit of fear from others who don't understand. (Technology fixing/breaking/hacking)

Duties

Duty 255: Droid Retasking: While the Empire seems to have an infinite number of organic beings in its service, droids also play a critical role in almost all Imperial operations. PC's with this Duty focus their efforts on disabling and reprogramming these droids to gather intelligence or even setting them against their Imperial masters. By attacking this vulnerable and often overlooked Imperial resource, such PCs provide vital aid to the Rebel Alliance.
