Yanto Sunmark was a child during the Clone Wars and a patriot to the CIS, viewing most admirals and leaders as heroes, defending the galaxy from the tyranny of the Republic. His mother Eryn Sunmark, part of the IMF of Agamar, became a tactician and commander for Separatist ground troops. She popularized using guerrilla tactics with fast-thinking droids and militia fighters. His father Dorrin Sunmark, being a member of the Separatist parliament for Agamar, met and fell in love with Eryn as she rose the ranks. Together they had the fraternal twins Yanto and Hudson. Dorrin and the children moved to Raxus for his work, while Eryn commonly served near the front lines. As he grew up he quickly developed a knack for droid tech, serving as a lower level intern and then employee for the Corporate Alliance. Eventually as the Separatist Alliance was brought to a an end with the Outer Rim Sieges, Eryn was tried and executed by the Empire. Dorrin was arrested along with many of Yanto's family members. Except for Hudson, who was skeptical of the Separatist cause, joined the Imperial Academy, becoming a combat medic of the Stormtrooper Corps. Yanto had to run and live on the streets of Raxus, making money by starting a droid repair shop on Tatooine after escaping an Imperial blockade on a smuggler's ship. However the unbearable heat made him wish for something more, and recently after seeing many heroic acts of the Rebel Alliance fighting the Republic turned Empire's tyranny, he has decided to join their cause.

To Free the Galaxy from the Republic turned Empire, and though he may have some disagreements with the members of the Rebel Alliance he knows them to be the best option to this path.

Tech Procurement- Taking the best of tech of the Empire, Old Republic, Rebels and CIS. Yanto will use his wits to design new weaponry and tech along with reusing what's available to him to fight the empire to his best ability.

Yanto stands at about 6ft. He is very lean, with deep tan skin, and somewhat shaggy black hair. His features have grown somewhat rougher from his time spent travelling space and in the deserts of Tatooine, with some stubble and light wear. However his deep purple eyes and face underneath it all show the lavish lifestyle he used to know. He always has his tool kit on his utility belt around his waist, and a simple vest over his re-purposed navy blue CIS technician's outfit. Decorated with symbols of the Rebel Alliance stitched onto the shoulders where the CIS symbols used to be. He also has a hand scanner with him and googles on his forehead.
