Amaul is a female Mon Calamari who was taken from her her family and home planet to work as the personal "attendant" for an Imperial admiral and his family. While the admiral's children treated her with care and respect, their parents were far less kind and the admiral in particular.
Secretly, Amaul intently studied the admiral's interactions with other Imperial dignitaries and non-Imperial dignitaries. Not only for information to help defeat the Empire, but to better learn how to help the Rebel Alliance she hoped to join some day in more ways than just carrying a blaster and knowing how to shoot.
