Background
Kyrin was a tech prodigy, born and raised on Alderaan. From a young age, he had a knack for engineering, but his life changed drastically when, at 16, he was brought to Coruscant during the Clone Wars to work in Republic military technology labs. There, he specialized in weapons and gadgets, designing cutting-edge tech for both the clone troopers and Jedi. His skills extended beyond weapons—he often repaired broken lightsabers for young Padawans, forging friendships with both the clones he equipped for battle and the Jedi he aided.
For years, Kyrin felt a sense of purpose in his work, but that all crumbled when the war took a sudden, violent turn. At 23, as Order 66 was enacted, he found himself trapped on Coruscant, surrounded by the very clone troopers he had once called friends. With the experimental gear he had designed, he fought his way through them, escaping the planet and leaving behind everything he had known.
Now a drifter in the Outer Rim, Kyrin survived by crafting weapons from black-market parts, selling to those who could afford his skills. But the work barely kept him afloat, and the scars of betrayal never left him. Eventually, he turned his ingenuity toward himself, constructing a custom suit outfitted with deadly gadgets and advanced tech. With no true home and no real allegiance, he began taking on bounty hunting jobs—sometimes for credits, sometimes for revenge, and sometimes just to keep moving forward.
Motivation
Survival Ofcourse but Kyrin is motivaded by development and perfection, with all the money in the world Kyrin belive he could perfect his tech.
Duties
Favor: The PC owes a big favor. Perhaps officials looked the other way when they smuggled in goods, or a friend got them out of prison. Regardless, the favors are stacking up, and soon they're going to be asked to pay them back or return the favor. This favor may be called in a little at a time, prolonging the Obligation.
Tech Procurement: There is no more prolific or productive time for technological developments than during a war, and
this one is no exception. This Player Character sees the true opportunity for Alliance victory in the hands of scientists,
engineers, and technicians. Not only can they get the most performance from existing machines and resources, but
they can design and develop new ships, weapons, medical techniques, and equipment that can provide the vital edge
necessary to survive against the Empire’s might. The way this PC sees it, stealing the best developments of the Empire is
a crucial way to even the odds.
