Background
Born to Trandoshan mercenary Dorkesh Hukissk in 39BBY on Trandosha. Disliking force users in general the senior Hukissk effectively sold his son to the Jedi in 37BBY.
His Ithorian master, Ibeemm Vol, taught him to live a spiritual and reflective life. For most of time learning under Master Vol he lived a sheltered and monastic life.
Kressh nearly lost his life after the LAAT gunship that rescued him and his master from the killing grounds of the colosseum was destroyed by a missile. His master was not so lucky. Maimed and nearly dead it was only the hardiness and regenerative capabilities of his species that kept him alive long enough to be found and sent to a medical frigate.
The sudden loss of his master and the breakout of the Clone Wars has thrown his mind into disarray. The Jedi were soldiers now. Killers and generals all in one. Without the guidance of his peace loving master he fears that the war will force him to fall back on his Trandoshan heritage and become a warmonger.
Motivation
The Jedi Code
Morality
Patient and self reflective Kressh in many ways embodies the light side of the Force. He is quick to forgive and slow to anger. The Jedi code is everything to him and each day he tries to advance his understanding of its teachings.
However, he is self doubting and worries about his worthiness of becoming a Jedi Knight. With the loss of his master he has become increasingly distraught and anxious about his place in the Order and the galaxy in general.
Description
Kressh is a prime example of Trandoshan might. At almost seven feet tall he towers over most of his fellow Jedi. His body is thick with bundles of muscle that more than once have allowed him to best a Wookiee Jedi in a friendly arm wrestling match.
His scales are primarily grey with numerous jagged green-yellow stripes. His eyes are a dark orange in color and are crossed diagonally by dark slit pupils.
He most often wears heavy robes of Jedi design, but like most of his people walks barefoot.
