A stun club (with a paired attachment, which allows you to attack with a second weapon if you spend one advantage) paired to an energy buckler (which you can spend two advantage with smacking someone to concuss them (they can't take actions on their turn), and which increases your melee and ranged defense.

N-57 armor, which is decently durable, modified to have an in-helmet commlink, in-helmet scanner (remove setback from darkness/smoke/etc.), A utility arm which can give you an extra manuever per turn and also provides two bonus die to mechanics, and an integrated holster which securely and discretely hides your stun club, bolas and grenades.
You've also got binders, A datapad, datagoggles (free success on knowledge checks decided before heading out for the day), repair patches, stimpacks, A lowfeedback scanner which can detect radiation and lifeforms and other shit for certain ranges, a water purifier, slicer gear, a tool belt, quick sealing spray foam (which can be jury rigged into explosives) and a comm jammer all on load bearing gear, a backpack, and also your ship
