Down and Out - A Findsman private investigator turned renegade. Originally hired by the Empire to investigate Hickey's suspicious dealings. He earned the right to refer to himself by his given name by standing up to the Empire and assisting Hickey in his escape.

Former Nemesis - He and Hickey at one time had a cat-and-mouse relationship, with him trying to uncover Hickey's activities and Hickey trying to outfox him. While their experience on the run gave each a deep yet grudging respect for the other, they still hold some conflicts. Hickey's personal bigotry drives most of it.

Criminal - A former hostage of Hickey's during the latter's attempted coup. Having been hung out to dry and his life endangered by the local Imperial loyalists, he was impressed by Hickey's gallantry and dedication and helped him escape into exile.

A non-breathing Gand, a chitinous and three-fingered species that in his subspecies produces methane internally from his diet. A pious being, he follows the Gand sect of the "findsmen", ritualistically hunting his private investigator "prey" to bring divine blessings to his people.
He aspires to ascend to the ranks of the Ruetsavii, the elders and spiritual leaders of his race.
