Justified Avenger
Kaje was born before the Empire formed, and saw the destruction and enslavement of her people first hand. She saw the atrocities the Emperor and his cronies committed on Ryloth, and was right there in the middle as the resistance formed amongst her people.
The Duty to Tradition
There was a time when people respected the Jedi, and for that respect, the Emperor had them killed. That is but one of the Emperor's sins. A new Jedi Order would go a long way to bringing back the order of the Republic.

Connections/Political
Kaje doesn't talk much of home, but she was actually sent to the Alliance as a representative of the Free Ryloth Movement, which was, at the time, run by her uncle Cham. Things did not go well with that, and for her own protection, she was ushered off to a strike team, and has left her surname behind. Still, she is loyal to the cause, even more so after hearing the news of what's happening back home. She longs to free her planet, but understands that it's maybe not in the cards at the moment.

Support
Kaje has seen what happens to lone agents, and come to understand that only as a whole can the varied Rebels around the galaxy bring down their foe. Her role as a liason between two disparate groups plays into this, trying to bring smaller groups under the umbrella of the larger Rebel Alliance. On the smaller scale, she works tirelessly to make sure her group and her other allies are properly equipped and properly motivated to keep the fight going.
