Background
At 41 years old, Wedge Serrus has over a decade's experience as a low-level bounty hunter, assassin, occasional pirate, and general rifle-for-hire. Originally hailing from Alderaan, Wedge was the fourth son of a forlorn branch of the House of Serrus, and he set out early to find his own place in the galaxy and secure assets for his family's power and glory.
Motivation
• Relationship, Extended Family:
Wedge had a large extended family that he lived for, in the form of House Serrus of Alderaan, since (likely) wiped out. Despite their demise, he still seeks their approval, the ghosts of his past clamoring in his ear for attention.
• Code, The Only Score that Matters:
To Wedge Serrus, it's the only score that matters when all other scores are settled; having the highest body count. Serrus only takes a target alive if the contract doesn't pay for the target dead, and has virtually no respect for sentient life for its own sake.
Obligations
• Debt (20):
Wedge Serrus owes a massive debt to the Desilijic Kajidic for services rendered and credits loaned to the Serrus family during the decades-long aftermath of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire. As a poor House, it supported the Empire against the more rebellious or republican families of Alderaan, leading to prolonged political instability. Although Alderaan is destroyed, the debt remains.
Description
Wedge Serrus is a human male of muscular build, ~193cm (6'4''), of indeterminate age; somewhere between youthful veteran and walking corpse. Multiple obvious cybernetic augments and replacements adorn his head alone, including a scuffed cybernetic borg construct fused to the back of his head, a built-in respirator, and a set of retinal tracker ocular replacements.
His greasy brown hair slicked back, only covering the the temple of his head, is cut off by the jagged and uneven scars of the borg construct, illuminated even in the dark by soft amber lights.
Wedge dresses entirely in an eclectic mix of fully utilitarian clothing and equipment, all of which is scuffed but well kept, with a tracker's utility vest and a military backpack carried over a thin plastoid coat, with multiple extra power-packs spread across his belt and vest, as well as an entrenching tool at his lower back. A scoped blaster rifle hangs around his neck in a slung.
