Background

Korsin grew up a degenerate gambler always looking for a table to play at. His addiction gave him both great wealth but also grant misfortune. Often getting into more trouble than he could handle. He's always looking for that next score to win it big and leave behind this wretched life, opening up a small time place of his own where his money works for him. He's scraped together enough of a nest egg, lying, cheating, and conning his way across the galaxy but needs that one final score to put him on the path.

Power: For this Smuggler, success means having the skills, knowledge, credits, prestige, or contacts to wield some real power in the galaxy. Power comes in many forms. He might want to head his own smuggling ring one day, or maybe he hopes to work his way up the ranks of a larger organization like the Black Sun. If a he’s a Charmer, he may feel powerful when manipulating others. If he’s a Thief, it might be when he’s taking their prized possessions. For any Smuggler with this Motivation, the thrill of being important, of having power over others as well as his own life, is what drives him.

Obligations

High Risk: The Smuggler just can’t help it; he has to take the most dangerous jobs and play for the highest stakes. He is a victim of his own pride, and his ego often lands him in trouble. This Smuggler has something to prove and, when challenged, he cannot help but take the opportunity to display his bravery, even if this puts himself and his party in harm's way.
