Background
A Former Jedi Padawan now on the run and fighting between his urge to keep his head down and survive and his desire to fulfill his oath to the Jedi.
Motivation
Trying to stay alive with an Empire hunting him Renson still feels a pull to honor the Jedi Order and the Jedi Code. He therefore tries hand to do the right thing without endangering himself and others. This does not often work out the way he hopes.
