Sonya grew up in the Jedi Temple of Eedit on Devaron. She constantly struggled to develop her force powers barely achieving enough to become a padawan. Her master took her to Ossus to try to find some way to improve her understanding of the Cosmic Force; while teaching her the Ataru fighting styles, her favorite experience so far.
The Sith attacked while they were on Ossus and her master ordered her to take as many records as she could to the evacuation ships. She ended up in a cryo tube on one of the ships.
Upon awakening she found her feeble grasp of the force had gone, and all of her fur had fallen out.

Expertise: Sonya has resolved to master her lightsaber technique, at the expense of many other things going on around her.

Sonya is a Devaronian with a ruddy complexion and violet eyes. She is atypically bald but has the usual dark spots on her forehead. She prefers to wear loose, light clothing that covers as much of her as possible.
