A former government official on Lantillies, Ori Atalla is all too familiar with the Empire's human-first stance when it comes to politics. Ori is the daughter of a long line of Lantillian political leaders, and expected to do her duty in local and then sector government when the ascendant Empire purged the sector leadership of non-humans under the guise of "removing rebellious elements".

Many of those representatives and officials had been willing to work inside the new system, but the Empire's actions drove Ori and many of her peers directly into the arms of the Alliance.

Now, Ori works as a legal professional in a remote city in Lantillies, but her position is a front for her covert activities for the Rebellion. Her family name and political career earn her some respect among governments in the sector.

Cause: Equality
Lantillies has long had a tradition of equal treatment and opportunity for the many non-human communities that call it home. Ori's ancestors fought for that freedom, and so will she.

Ori believes strongly that victory against the Empire will not come from bold partisans in the wilderness, but from everyday people living, working, and resisting in population centers across the galaxy. She will go out of her way to recruit and support sympathetic civilian personnel.

A slender Tholothian in her mid 30's, she has light brown skin and pale violet eyes. She keeps her tendrils tied back in a professional queue when working.

Ori prefers not to resort to violence, though she recognizes its usefulness when dealing with the Empire.
