Taken on a incidental travel vacation while working on the ship computer for a traveling merchant, he traveled the galaxy for several months before landing on Coruscant. While exploring the computer code for the mainframe of the Senate, without permission, he was caught. Recognizing his skill and that he had no ill intent, the Republic decided that hiring him was safer than letting him go free. Now he is a proud member of the Republic Intelligence Branch and goes on exciting adventures nearly daily. He still prefers to explore the computer systems however.
