Background

Homeworld: Cheravh in the Mandalore Sector.

Runi Gor’morut (lit. Soul Hammerhaven) was born the daughter of a survivor of Order 66 and a Mandalorian woman. Her maternal grandfather was the clan Armorer. Her father had been an apprentice Armorer and Artisan in the Jedi Temple’s armory with a bright future in crafting Jedi armor and weapons before Order 66 destroyed the Jedi. He barely escaped the slaughter at the temple eventually making his way to the backwater world of Cheravh in the Mandalore Sector, where he had been taken in by the clan’s Armorer, eventually marrying the man’s daughter and having Runi about 7 years before the Battle of Yavin. Growing up, her father, having apprenticed to his father in law, taught her a little of the Force, but only as it applied to crafting, as she too took interest in the Forge. One day her family took a trip to Mandalore to visit the Great Forge and Living Waters of Mandalore, while there, the Great Purge of Mandalore began with the Night of a Thosand Tears. Her percents were killed in the attack, but Runi and her Grandfather made it out and back to Cheravh. Runi now works as her Grandfather’s main apprentice and has been studying Mandalorian lore and metal smithing ever since, combining it with what her father had taught her.
