Background
Trico Minn was the youngest of four sons, born on Coruscant to Halco Minn, a man of the Empire and a trainer at the Imperial Academy. Trico's three brothers, Rex, Sheevan and Grevara all joined the Academy before him, and Trico soon found himself enrolled and indoctrinated into imperial ideology.
Trico's time in the Academy's cadets showed enough promise and enough cunning, or perhaps, enough influence from his father, that when it came to be enrolled in his full training, he was selected for the 'Imperial Infiltration Initiative'. Trico was taught how to protect the Empire by infiltrating and destroying those that would threaten galactic order.
Trico had graduated in the middle of his class, and was sent on his first mission to pose a volunteer at a space station on PLANET providing aid for those fleeing from Trade Federation Remnant attack and other conflicts in the galaxy. The station was being used by rebels to resupply and the Empire wanted it shut down. Trico was to gain access to the control room, and use explosives to destroy a well-protected, vital and irreplaceable air filter keeping the station running in the inhospitable PLANET atmosphere.
Trico met a Mirilian, Maz, who seemed to have authority and who he befriended to gain closer access to the facility. The filter was well guarded, and Trio spent almost a month working in the centre, seeing the horros, and hearing the tales of the people there. Trico had a crisis of faith, and decided he couldn't destroy the facility and doom all the people living there. Worst, he heard harrowing tales of the Empires cruelty, and cracks began to appear in his ideology.
Maz noticed the change in Trico, and after Trico had been driven to drink at the Cantina after a harrowing day, he confessed that he was sent as an Imperial Agent. Trico decided that he couldn't do it and realised he had been brainwashed his whole life.
Trico left that night on a cruiser to the outskirts of the galaxy, away from Imperial eyes, and as far from his father as possible.
Motivation
Short term - To escape out of Empire territory
Medium term - To decide whether I want to try and get back home or start a new life
Long term - To either redeem myself, or gain the Empire's forgiveness
Obligations

* And I stole a lot of their gear (5 obligation)
Description
Flaws - Naive - well educated, but through a horrendous imperial bias which causes some issues. Not prejudiced truly, but grew up using slurs as if they were nothing, and doesn't realise what's offensive.
