Snes grew up in the lush forests of Kashyyyk. Both his mother and father were carpenters. He often enjoyed building houses for new villagers with his parents. As a young adult, a large group of Trandoshan slavers arrived to his homeworld, beginning a little less-than a full scale invasion of the planet under the noses of the Galactic Republic. It was because of this Snes joined the Wookie army and trained as a field medic. After the Trandoshans were driven off-world, Snes stayed in the military, participating in the Droid attack on the Wookies decades later, which was scheduled to be his last battle before retiring. During this battle, he saved the life of a Clone named Sharp. Through the threads of fate, the two joined together briefly after the end of the Clone Wars and found themselves within the society of Fringers.
