Background
Sena’s early childhood was spent on the fringes of Mandalorian society. Her parents detested the pacifist ways of their current ruler, Duchess Satine, and kept her isolated from the indoctrination of “peace” and cleansing of the ancient warrior ways. When her mother’s cousin Gar joined the fringe group Kyr’tsad (Death Watch), he invited them to come with him, but they declined since she was still so young and needed both parents at home. It wasn’t until she was a little older and Death Watch was finally in power—with a little some help from a Sith Lord—that her parents finally gave in. By now Gar had been promoted to second-in-command, and was able to offer them prestigious positions within their ranks. They moved with him to the capital city of Sundari, and life was good…but it only lasted a brief moment. The Republic came in to meddle with things they had no business in, removing the Sith Lord—and Death Watch by extension—from power during the Siege of Mandalore. Sena lost her father in the battle while her mother hid with her in the tunnels beneath the city to protect her. The late Duchess’s sister Bo-Katan took power for Clan Kryze once again. It wasn’t until her distant cousin Gar implored the up-and-coming Empire for help that the Saxons were reinstated as the leaders of Mandalore, although this time that leadership came with much oversight from their new ally. A council of clan elders was assembled to lead their people, as well as serve proxy to the Empire, and her mother was chosen for the honor to be apart of it. Life grew more comfortable after that, but wouldn’t be the same without her father. Sena continues on with life, and follows her family’s example to serve the Empire and push forward Clan Saxon’s goals from within.
Motivation
Love | Local Politics | Parents & Extended Family/Clan—As all good Mandalorians do, Sena has a duty to uphold the lofty expectations of her clan. Everything she does, she does in the Saxon name with honor and pride. Her father bears the best example of this ultimate expression of love: he sacrificed himself so she and her mother could stay safe during the Siege of Mandalore. His dutybound death is a constant reminder of what a Mandalorian should be, and she does her best to honor his memory by living by their creed. Her mother has decided this means serving the Empire, and she’s more than happy to abide by her strict rules so long as it assists the clan and keeps them on top.
Obligations
Family (+10 obligation for 2500 credits, or all her current gear)—At her mother’s behest, Sena joined the Imperial Academy on Mandalore and was one of the first cadets to attend. There she studied and trained in the ways of not only great Mandalorians, but Imperial soldiers as well. She trained hard, and earned high marks for her courage and creativity. Now a recent graduate, Sena has finally received her first mission: infiltrate a small rebel cell on the cusp of Imperial space! She’s eager to prove herself, and after a generous gift of gadgets and gear from her mother and other Saxon clan members, she’s well on her way towards paying them back in stolen secrets.
Description
Standing at 1.78m (5’10”) tall—1.85m (6’1”) in her favorite pair of steel-toed platform heeled boots—and weighing in at 75kg (165lbs) of muscle, Sena makes an imperious figure in her full set of bright pink beskar armor. Her “spy” gear isn’t all that subtle either, with a hot pink leather jacket and utility belt, deep magenta leather pants and crossbody satchel, and glittering silver cape with dyed pastel pink shriek-hawk feathers around the collar. Any pink equipment she can get her hands on is added to her arsenal, and anything that isn’t already is swiftly painted her favorite shade. When not wearing her helmet, she keeps her blonde hair tied back in a high ponytail with cute clips for her flowy fringe.
