Background
Almost 75 years old, Alor'uus has been passed down through three generations. It was found and adopted by Kaleb's father when Kaleb was a young boy, but was in the care of Kaleb for the longest, having been passed on to him when he came of age and staying with him until he died, a span of nearly 40 years.
Now Alor'uus, affectionately called "Ruus," is in the care of Ijaat.
Motivation
Master: Technically, Alor'uus is in the care of Ijaat and not the other way around. But Ruus will need to be convinced of that. It was around since before Ijaat was born, and can remember eagerly making nests in preparation for the new baby, who has now grown up. Alor'uus seems to think of Ijaat as more like its pup than its master, and although it still obeys him like it did Kaleb, it seems convinced that it needs to take care of Ijaat like it would a pup.
It also wants bu'ade, and is of the opinion and Ijaat should hurry up and produce some.
Obligations
Description
About a meter long, Alor'uus is covered in thick, gold fur and has a long, whip-like tail. Its six legs are connected by numerous folds of loose, leathery skin that can be used to form wing membranes, allowing it to glide from high places or even fly short distances by flapping its legs in unison.
Its ears are long and floppy, and its gray tongue is extremely long, comically so.
