Background
Orias used to have a pretty good gig: The Empire would hire slavers to trap the primitive natives of the largest moon of Ub. The slavers would track their largely defensive quarry through the uncharted jungle for several days. Orias and his friends would jump out from behind things stun them all. The locals would enslave the would-be slavers and pay Orias in valuable biological samples and supplies.
Everybody was a winner! Except the slavers. And the Empire, which set the jungle on fire and put Orias on a list. Suddenly lacking a job, he signed up with the Alliance out of spite.
