Weapons & Armor

Xhandra's Serrated Ancient Sword:
A single-edged (with vicious serration) blade that Xhandra picked up from the Excommunicator's storage, it is likely this intimidating relic was intended for some Inquisitor's gallery. [Enc 3]

Xhandra's Padded Armour: Scrounged from the Exterminator, Xhandra wears the reinforced body glove belonging beneath a Storm Trooper's armour to protect herself. [Soak 2, Enc 2]

Personal Gear

Xhandra's Backpack: Made of durable synthleather, Xhandra's backpack is more of a sling bag, and is carried over one shoulder. [Enc Increase +4]
It contains:
Wilderness Survival Kit (see below)
Fusion Lantern [Enc 2]
Datapad [Enc 1]
Scanner Goggles
10x Stimpacks

Xhandra's Utility Belt:
Recovered from the Excommunicator's storage lockers, Xhandra has a Jedi Utility Belt that's gone all the way to the Unknown Regions and back with her.
It contains: 3x Day supply of food capsules, emergency medpac [Enc 1], lightsaber maintenance kit [Enc 2], slim glow rod, comlink, aquata breather. A lightsaber can be hung securely from it and it has numerous pouches still free. [+1 Encumbrance]

Wilderness Survival Kit: Brought all the way from Coruscant to the Unknown Regions, Xhandra retrieved her Wilderness survival kit from the Excommunicator's storage lockers. It contains:
thermal cloak, multitool, distress beacon, two emergency comlinks, a spool of wire, ration bars, basic medpac, two respirators, water jug with filter, glow rod, 50 meters of high-tensile microfiber line, 10x Field Ration Packs, emergency flare gun. [Enc 5]

Assets & Resources

BEGUILING PHEROMONES: By emitting pheromones and altering their skin color, Falleen can affect emotional states of other sentients. Once per check as an incidental, a Falleen may suffer 2 strain to upgrade the ability of a Charm, Deception, or Negotiation check against a living sentient being within short range once, This ability has no effect on targets wearing breath masks or without respiratory systems.

SCANNER GOGGLES: With passive light amplification, thermal imaging, polarized lenses and numerous filters, Xhandra's goggles do something - they let her see normally in dark conditions.

THERMAL CLOAK: Removes up to 2x Setbacks made to handle the effects of extreme heat or cold.

Talents

Name Rank Book & Page Description
Nobody's Fool FaD p 148 The difficulty of any Charm, Coercion and Deception checks attempted against Xhandra is upgraded once for each rank of Nobody's Fool.
Niman Technique FaD p 148 Force Talent: When making a Lightsaber skill check, Xhandra may use Willpower instead of Brawn.
Parry I FaD p 149 When Xhandra suffers a hit from a Brawl, Melee or Lightsaber combat check, after damage is calculated but before soak is applied, she may take a Parry incidental. This talent may only be used once per hit and only if the character is wielding a Lightsaber or Melee weapon.
Reflect I FaD p 150 Force Talent: When Xhandra suffers a hit from a Ranged (Light), Ranged (Heavy) or Gunnery combat check, after damage is calculated but before soak is applied, she may take the Reflect incidental. She suffers 3 strain and reduces the damage dealt by 2+ ranks of Reflect. This talent may only be used once per hit, and when Xhandra is wielding a Lightsaber weapon.
Sense Emotions FaD p 151 Force Talent: Xhandra adds 1x Boost to all Charm, Coercion and Deception tests unless the target is immune to Force Powers.

Background

IT IXhandra Ken was born to a powerful family on Falleen, and when she as a mere baby was found to have potential in the Force, she was sent to the Jedi Temple to become a youngling and then a padawan - her family reasoning that they could send letters and later messengers to remind her of her ties to them and to subvert the Jedi Training. After all, they reasoned, Falleen lifespans are measured in centuries, and so it would be an easy enough thing for them to cultivate Xhandra as yet another asset in the jedi order.

Perhaps conflicting loyalties was one of the reasons Xhandra Ken was eager to urge her Master onwards in their chosen study of the Unknown Regions, and around the time that Chancellor Palpatine took his position, the pair bid the known galaxy farewell and set off to explore places beyond belief.

It went... Poorly.

Their ship suffered a hyperdrive malfunction that threw them out in unknown space and with only a vague direction on how to get home. Without a functioning hyper-drive, their deaths seemed assured. Thankfully, the ship had been fitted with cryopods, and Xhandra and her master decided to chance cryo-sleep and trusting in the force and a very slow-moving ship to find them.

Some thirty-odd years later, they reached the outer rim, where they were found by a patrol vessel. Conflict ensued, and Xhandra's master barely escaped a vicious battle with a Sith Inquisitor. Xhandra herself was captured, and sent to the Excommunicator. It is there we begin her story...

Motivation

Faith: The Jedi Code

Emotion, yet peace.
Ignorance, yet knowledge.
Passion, yet serenity.
Chaos, yet harmony.
Death, yet the Force.

With everything else gone so horribly wrong, Xhandra must believe that adhering to the Jedi Code can serve as both an anchor and a guiding star for her life, allowing her something to fall back on and something to guide her in times of unrest.

Morality

Obligation (30): Oath - Xhandra is clinging hard to her devotion to the Jedi Code, as it was taught to her.

Morality: 71 (Light Side Force User)

Emotional Strength: Love
Xhandra has an open heart. While she may hold a special place in her heart for her companions or significant other(s), she tends to genuinely like most individuals she meets. Her love for others can make her charming and affable, and exceedingly tolerant.

Emotional Weakness: Anger
Hot blood can easily lead to hot tempers. After recent experiences, Xhandra is quick to anger, and what she cannot deal with face-to-face can often frustrate her to the point of rage

Description

Tall and slender, with the reptilian grace of the Falleen, Xhandra wears her deep-green hair fairly short, going to the nape of her neck and with a natural fall that parts naturally to the left. She tends to wear it artfully, almost rogueishly tousled, but these days it's pushed out of her face by the scanner goggles she wears on her forehead.

She tends to cover up the curves of her frame first and foremost with the black, reinforced body glove of some appropriate storm-trooper armour, complete with gloves and boots, and then cover up that with a thermal cloak to protect from both the environment and prying eyes. Sometimes, she'll even wear the hood.

In lieu of her lightsaber, she now carries a wicked-looking serrated blade in a short holster off her utility belt, another trophy from her time in captivity.

She has orange, pupilless eyes, and fine features, with hints of ridges to her cheekbones and spikes along her spine, the scales of her skin only visible up close. She also tends towards a slight smirk as her default expression, which may - and frequently is - read as arrogant.
