-1x Stimpack: It takes a maneuver for a character to inject a stimpack in himself or another. Stimpacks are one-use items, and automatically heal 5 wounds. Background

Zorna'Ala, better known as Naala, was raised on Dantooine by her parents, Zorna'Azal (Nazal), and Zorna'Aka (Rnaaka). Both of her parents were exiles of the Chiss Ascendancy, a mysterious Autocracy located in the Unknown Regions of the Galaxy. It was a topic seldom brought up in front of Naala, as were the circumstances of her parents' banishment. As such, the young Chiss knew little of what some may call her "homeworld," but she did not mind, as Dantooine was her home, not Csilla.

Life on Dantooine was fairly peaceful; Naala's family owned a farm on the outskirts of a sizable settlement, and the inhabitants, a majority non-humans, were welcoming to her kind. It was under her mother, Rnaaka, where Naala was taught history and other such knowledge, believing that a well-rounded education was paramount to her daughter's upbringing. While Naala's father, Nazal, trained Naala in the ways of the rifle, teaching how to hunt the beasts that roamed the lavender and yellow grassed savannahs of her homeworld.

Unfortunately, the peace she experienced at her homeworld soon came to an end at the age of 21. It turned out her parents were part of a searching insurgent group against the Empire and had just launched an attack on a nearby Imperial outpost. Sadly, it had failed, with the survivors, including her parents, captured by the Empire. This news, however, was not learned from her parents firsthand, but from an Imperial broadcast that spoke of these "insurgent terrorists." and subsequent defeat. As punishment, many insurgents, a majority of whom being non-human, were shipped into slavery. Naala only got to see her parents one last time before they were sent off, attempting to reach out before she was shoved to the ground by an Imperial soldier.

Her family's and friends' capture was only the first of Naala's troubles. As penance for the insurgents' actions and to prevent more wannabe rebels from arising, a majority of the settlement was razed by the Empire, leaving Naala's home, as well as many others' in ruins. Escaping the with her life and a few belongings, Naala fled the planet, using what credits she had to buy passage aboard a cargo ship. Ever since leaving Dantooine, she's sought to rescue her people and take revenge on what the Empire did to them. Now, having joined with a local insurgent group and eventually recognized by the Rebel Alliance, Naala is one step closer to achieving her goal.

Naala seeks to rescue her parents and fellow insurgents of her home settlement. These people were her friends, family, and neighbors; she grew up with them on Dantooine, and she can't let them, or anyone similar, suffer in the prisons and slave mines of the Empire. Although Naala is unsure of how far they've been scattered across the Galaxy, she holds onto the hope that she can save them and others who have suffered the same fate.

Naala will only rest once she sees the Empire fall and her homeworld's compatriots freed. However, doing so is a herculean task against the might of the Empire. Thus, Naala believes that the only way to accomplish such a goal is through the strategic erosion of the Empire's strength, assets, infrastructure, and public support through careful sabotage.

Naala is a slim Chiss with blue skin and glowing red eyes. She has jet black hair cut at a medium to long length. She has a dark grey cloak worn atop the slightly oversized military jacket of her father's, with a tattered patch of the Alliance stitched on the shoulder.

Chiss Racial Abilities:
• Special Abilities: Chiss begin the game with one rank in Cool. They still may not train Cool above rank 2 during character creation.
• Infravision: Chiss have adapted to be able to see in both the infrared and normal visual spectra. This enables Chiss characters to remove up to one black setback die added to checks by lighting conditions.
