Side Step Rank 1 EotE 142 Once per round on the character's turn, the character may perform a Side Step maneuver to try to avoid incoming ranged attacks. He then suffers a number of strain no greater than his ranks in Side Step. Until the start of the character's next turn, upgrade the difficulty of all ranged combat checks targeting the character a number of times equal to the strain suffered by the character.
Command EotE 133 The character gains (Boost) per rank of Command when making Leadership checks (or other checks to inspire, lead, or rally an audience). Inspired targets also add (Boost) per rank to any subsequent Discipline checks they make over the next twenty-four hours (this does not increase with additional ranks of Command).

Background

Kuzo is old and has seen more than his fair share of combat, but clearly not enough for his story to of reached it's end. So he does as fate has willed and continues on the warriors path, though it is on his own terms anymore. After the catastrophe that was the clone wars he swore to be the one choosing the missions he was or wasn't on from then on. Something he has kept mostly true to for the past 20 years, but despite what they say life on the Rim ain't cheap at least not if you want to enjoy it. Debts add up and sometimes your choice becomes do what they ask or lose a leg. So you follow orders again, for a bit at least.

Motivation

The life of a Warrior is the life fate has ordained for me. I once thought I fought for the glory of my legend. I was a foolish boy then now I know I simply fight to keep the booze flowing and the Hutts off my back.

Obligations

12 Obligation: In Debt to the Hutts.
13 Obligation: To my son he has done gone off and joined some remote cell of the alliance and always seems to be getting into trouble he needs his old man to bail him and his buddies out of. I told him joining those rebels would only cause him trouble with nothing to show for it but he wouldn't listen and now I end up having to help those fools from time to time. Just to keep my boy from getting himself killed.
