Background
The exact background of Mihar is purposefully left unspecified, and it should be adapted to fit almost any game within which she can reasonably serve as a Padawan to another player.
Originally hailing from a Cathar agricultural colony on the Outer Rim planet of Purrsecco IV, she was adopted by a human couple that had arrived to the planet as part of a relief effort following a Mandalorian raid that wiped out most of the colony, and came to live her first formative years on Corellia.
The nature of Mihar's adoption into the Jedi depends on Era and game concept, and she was either discovered late by her master, or taken to the Coruscant temple at around 4-5 years of age, which would be considered late.
In a Republican/Jedi Temple era, Master will receive a "permanent record"/evaluation/profile of Mihar detailing her years as a youngling trainwreck.
Motivation
• Ambition - Expertise:
Mihar truly wants to excel at being a Jedi, and to become a Jedi Knight and Guardian, and even her challenge to master the martial arts stems from a desire to make up for her shortcomings in this regard. She tries to constantly practice to achieve this perceived state of perfection.
• Challenge - Acceptance:
Mihar seeks acceptance in a universe that often treats Force sensitives as outsiders at best and as feared sorcerers or even dangerous cultists at worst, wishing for a satisfying role in a community, whether a colony or crew.
Morality
• Emotional Strength - Curiosity:
The galaxy is filled with wonders, and Mihar seeks to explore and expand her understanding of everything it presents, and she is always interested in learning new things and visiting new locations. Understanding all things and all beings drives Mihar to seek out experiences and wisdom wherever it may be found.
• Emotional Strength - Sympathy:
Mihar genuinely feels for and is never blin to th needs of others, sharing their pain and so acting to reuce it, showing mercy and compassion, and actively volunteer her help whenever the opportunity arises. She keeps few privileges to herself, but gladly shares her every blessing with those less fortunate.
• Emotional Weakness - Recklessness
While curiosity is admirable, failing to properly analyze a situation before acting is not. Mihar is often too sure of success and may be heedless of personal or others' safety or neglecting to consider her own well-being as a priority, rushing headfirst into danger and taking risks that might jeopardize the mission or leave her at the mercy of more calculating individuals.
• Emotional Weakness - Anger:
Caring overly for others, whether it is the trust of friends or the suffering of victims, can easily lead to hot tempers. Mihar is quick to anger, and what she cannot deal with directly can often frustrate her to rage.
Description
A young Cathar girl, ~145cm (4'9''-4'10'') tall, lithe, weighting in at ~45kg (100lbs), Mihar Sunstrider is fully befurred in shorthair fuzz shifting from charcoal to pitch, with a head of shortish and oft-unkempt hair of equal darkness, sporting a single thin braid braid that has a habit of switching around every time she rebraids it.
Discounting the relative rarity of Cathar, her most distinguishing marks are several symmetrical and vaguely triangular white stripes on her face and cheeks, which stand out against her black fur, as well as her large and piercing indigo eyes.
She is almost exclusively dressed in the traditional white and tan jedi robes most often associated with jedi padawans, although these are often looser than they should be, depending on how much of a hurry she was that morning or what she got herself into.
