1. Parents - I come from a long line of merchants. It's my family's trade, the one going back generation after generation. With my parents retired and me being an only child, the responsibility to continue our trade fell to me. When everything fell apart, it was hard not to feel like I was failing my entire genealogy. Since then, I've been trying to scrape my way back up the ladder and make something of myself again. Hopefully I'll still have enough to send back and support my parents.

2. Status - For years, I was rich and powerful. I could party with celebrities and politicians every night at the best clubs money could buy. After a lifetime spent living in my parents' shadows, the power and recognition were exhilarating. Powerful people knew my name and they liked it. But when the Empire rose and I lost everything, they pretended they didn't know me. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want it all back.

Secret. Debt - When the Jedi Order fell, I was left in a bad spot. I was on a hostile world with my shop destroyed, my ship missing, and only the clothes on my back to my name. I hid the best I could, but it seemed like there was no good way out. Eventually, I had to settle for a bad way out. I let myself be trapped into predatory deals as long as they agreed to smuggle me away. None of my debtors have called in their favors or asked for their money, but I mark off the days until they do.
