Background

Gilrond Darkmire is a human slicer from the planet Fondor, where his father groomed him from a young age to be an expert software programmer after seeing the boys aptitude and intelligence from an early age. With hopes that he would follow his old mans foot steps and join up with the Fondor Shipwrights Guild. Where he could put his mental efforts into forging new ground and technologies for space craft.

Which he of course Gilrond did, but only so that he could gain the access and familiarity with their security protocols and data systems so he could slice into their mainframes and take what he desired. Selling off the Guilds entire set of plans and specs for the companies newest line of star craft to the highest bidder he could find.

Since then Gilrond has been nearly insatiable in his desire to do more, to conquer more systems and establish himself as the best in the Galaxy. Gilrond took to using the working name "The Glorious" on the "Dark Nets", or the slicing back channels and forums. And has been moving from planet to planet ever since, stealing secrets and selling them to the highest bidder.

Gilrond is obsessed with proving that there is not a system in the Galaxy that he cant crack or work his way around. And trying to ensure that "The Glorious" goes down in the annals of history as the best around!

Motivation

Ambition - Fame
Gilrond desires nothing more in life than for "The Glorious" to be known and respected for his talent and skills, his exploits retold for centuries to come. For "The Glorious" to be feared by those who have secrets to keep, always looking over their shoulders for his movements, dreading the day "The Glorious" comes to tear their security and defenses asunder, and plunder and pillage as he sees fit.

Obligations

Obsession (10) - Gilrond gets itchy and unfocused if he hasn't broken into somewhere or something for more than a few days. Even if there is no profit in it for him, he has an unhealthy desire to prove that he hasn't lost his edge. And is constantly afraid that if he is away from the "game" for too long the Galaxy will pass him by, and more importantly forget that "The Glorious" ever existed!

Description

Gilrond is in his late twenties, and despite what most would assume from such an accomplished slicer, he is quite fit and trim. Which is a job necessity for a cat burglar who prides himself on being able to take anything from anywhere. Instead of trying to fight the whole "Pretty Boy" genetics he was born into, Gilrond has decided to run full bore with them. His mid-length locks are dyed a vibrant purple, he wears a fancy artificial leather jacket reminiscent of the Swoop Racer Gangs from the B-Rated Holo-Dramas of his formative years, and tops the look off with the tightest black pants that he can physically pry himself into, and a shirt cut low enough to show off his well sculpted chest.
