1 How did Rafe dicover his force sensitivity?
It was revealed to him when the holocron opened in his room and Tark's AI (closest thing I can think of to call the projection) taught him why it reacted to him
2 Describe a moment when you fell pray to your moral weakness
Rafe's recklessness in trying to help Tark lead him to become in immediate danger to a bounty hunter, If Tark hadn't sacrificed himself Rafe would have died that day.
3 How did Rafe come to Join the NJO
Rafe followed the direction left in Tarks holocron and snuck off world to find the NJO

When the bounty hunter was threatening Tark Rafe rushed in to help his friend.
Rafe was born on Corruscant and raised in comfort. It wasn't until his adolescence that he began to see how his peers and relatives did little to aid the poor and even to help solve the galaxies problems, much too little for Rafe's taste. The young man began to venture out into the worlds lower levels doing anything he could to help those that needed it even though it often ended up with him escorted home by the local guard.
One such attempt lead him to discover his force sensitivity. He was wandering about a lower level Bazaar where merchants and smugglers often came to trade in goods that you technically weren't supposed to be able to trade 100 percent legally. Rafe knew this was a fact of life and you couldn't' really fight the black market and most of the goods were harmless. In the back of his mind he knew that lower still in the darker belly of his home he could find slave traders and spice dealers, the truly harmful trade. But he didn't have a means of doing anything about them the guard would rarely patrol down there and when they did it was usually just a show of force with no action taken thanks to a few well placed credits.
But today he noticed something odd. The stall of an old friend of his was suspiciously empty. Old Tark was a twilek of advanced age and the man often tipped Rafe off on those that needed help in the market. Ducking into the small tent that made Tarks shop he saw the old alien being threatened by a bounty hunter demanding advanced payment for a strange box. Tark's rebuke informed Rafe this was exorbitantly more than the agreed upon price. Before considering what could happen Rafe charged into the bounty hunter tackling him from behind. With a should of surprise the box fell from his grasp shattering on the floor. The bounty hunter growled in anger leveling his blaster at Rafe. As the weapon barked and a flash of red filled Rafes vision he felt a heave weight fall over him as Tark's body landed on top of his. The old alien had taken the bolt for the young man and when Rafe managed to get back to his feet the bounty hunter had fled. A crowd was already gathering as a dieing Tark pressed the box to Rafes hands and a failing voice told him that he was who it was meant for.
Rafe was never sure what that meant at the time. He was calling for the others to find a guard or a doctor to get Tark help. But the old man was already dead. Rafe was escorted back to his home after telling the guard what had happened. His worried family panicked and locked Rafe in their home leaving him alone with the box. One night while staring at the box and wondering what he could have done different the box opened itself, Rafe stared in shock as a blue figure of old Tark appeared on it and began to explain to him about the Jedi and his past. Rafe was surprised that his old friend was one of the Jedi, an order everyone though was destroyed and only recently revived by Luke, the hero of the rebellion.
The figure seemed to be able to react to Rafe's direct questions but it was also apparent that it didn't understand who he was or what had happened to its living counterpart.

Despite this quirk he is not ignorant of the danger he is putting himself and others in, it's just that he hates sitting and waiting while others need his help.
