Background

Jack grew up in a middle-class family on the planet Corellia. His parents were respectable trade guild representatives, and he was expected to follow a similar, stable career path. While his peers were learning business protocols, he was devouring ancient star charts and whispered tales of forgotten civilizations and the mythic Jedi Knights. This obsession with a bygone era, and his feeling that there was "more" to the galaxy than just commerce and politics, led him to reject his family's plans for him.

He left Corellia to become a Fringer, taking on small survey and exploratory jobs in the Outer Rim. His parents, disappointed but not entirely estranged, still send him the occasional message, urging him to reconsider his life choices. During his travels, Jack crossed paths with a charismatic and daring smuggler named Pash. Pash, while a criminal, had a surprisingly deep knowledge of the Outer Rim's hidden routes and dangers. The two formed a partnership of sorts; Jack would provide intelligence on uncharted territories, and Pash would help him get to the more remote locations, often as a co-pilot or extra hand. It was Pash who first mentioned a strange, powerful energy field he had once sensed during a smuggling run—a sensation that resonated deeply with Jack's own nascent feelings about the Force. Motivation

Jack's primary motivation is to find and understand the Force.
