Axle is an was rescued by a hermit, who took and raised him away from society in general. Why his family was killed is unknown but he still bears the scars and dark memories of that day.

The hermit raised Axle as best he could and could not truly avoid teaching the ways of the force. Although the hermit's focus was more on raising Axle as a child and not a pupil, in many ways and experiment in philosophy. For Axle was intelligent and dangerously curious and as much of his education was self taught than dictated to him.

While occasionally venturing out or even escaping to the wider world, Axle interacted with the hidden dregs and rural corners of society, although always dutifully returning home after his adventures. Until one day, as Axle matures, the hermit gave him a duty. He was sat down and taught the ways of the Jedi, not to become one, but to bear the knowledge of them through the next generation. What ever may come.

Morality:
Axle struggles to maintain an even hand on a few areas close to his heart. Due to growing up in proximity to the dark side and his visions. Particularly in the areas of destruction of Knowledge and in attacks on unarmed populations, particularly families.
