Background
Literally born into service of the Grand Army of the Republic, CT-0877 has been training all his life for the time when the Republic would call upon him and his brothers to serve. Just like his brothers, he is ready to serve the Republic with unwavering loyalty. One notable event on his service record was during one of CT-0877's routine grav chute training missions. His grav chute reportedly malfunctioned and instead of landing on the floating platform as designated, he plummeted into the waters of Kamino. He was recovered and his commanding officer gave him the callsign 'Freefall'.

Each fighting unit is a family of sorts, and this is equally true within the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic. The character seeks to bring the troops together in a way that fosters trust, respect, and pride. By fostering the bonds that develop between comrades in combat, the character is able to strengthen morale and drive their people to fight harder and better than other, similar units. Unfortunately, camaraderie can have unfortunate results - alienation from fellow units, instances of hazing and initiation within the ranks, and overconfidence in the face of overwhelming odds.
