Background: Tikli grew up in a small village on Chad, leaving theplanet after her village was obliterated by a hurricane. She bounced around the galaxy for a few years, serving as an engineer on various tramp freighters or pirate vessels, until she finally got hired as a technician onboard the Silver Lining captained by one Martren Matthur, an apparent smuggler who turned out to be in the pay of Senator Organa and the Rebellion, specializing in getting weapons to resistance movements on various worlds, as well as getting vital persons and information off of them. Intrigued-- and, after her talents were discovered, given a fairly large budget to "improve" the crew's equipment with-- Tikli stayed on past the time when she usually left (or was asked to leave) a crew, and ended up on the station after Matthur and his crew helped Organa and his people flee the Empire's grasp.

Motivation: Relationship: Comrades.

Obligation: Obsession. Tikli is driven to try and improve things, particularly to make them more efficient and useful. She does not, however, make a habit of testing or prototyping things first.
