Bravery/Hatred:
Zan-Kel was raised on Iridonia, and grew up hearing stories of his father's service during the Clone Wars - even stories about the Jedi Knights that he served alongside. Naturally, Zan-Kel has honed his talents to become a hunter as a means of protecting others, much like how his father selflessly served the Republic during its waning years.
Unfortunately, Zan-Kel despises the Empire - much like many native Iridonians. Due to the Clone Wars, Zan-Kel's father was left crippled, and unable to carry on his family's traditions. To make matters worse, the Imperial occupation of Iridonia has only ignited Zan-Kel's brash spirit. He wishes to see his homeland free of the Imperials, and there is little he will not do to achieve that end.
Description
Standing at almost six feet tall, Zan-Kel is a fairly imposing Zabrak hunter. Like other Zabrak, Zan-Kel is bald, with vestigial horns arrayed in two rows from the front to the back of his head. His left front horn has been sliced off, but Zan-Kel has opted not to file the broken horn down. Like other Zabrak, the customary tattoos adorn his light brown skin and frame his almond-colored eyes with a pattern that has been passed down in his family for generations.
As a hunter by trade, Zan-Kel wears a vest and clothes woven with a lightweight durasteel mesh - providing the ubiquity of civilian clothing, with all of the functionality of actual combat gear. Along with these, he wears metal guards on his forearms and shins, along with plated boots and leather gloves. These accessories are carved with patterns similar to his facial tattoos.
The carbine that Zan-Kel carries is an older variant of the EE-3 carbine, issued to members of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. The age and wear of the weapon is readily apparent to anyone who decides to give it an inspection, but the weapon has proven to be trustworthy, even after all these years.
