Had an non blood related uncle who served in the Clone Wars, as well as a great (blood related) uncle as a general. Grew up on Mirialan planet with his mother and uncle to raise him.
His Clone uncle met the small family after having been relieved from duty on Mirialan and decided to remain there, taking up the name of Cal Toppreit, although he's also known as 'uncle Cal'.
The Jedi uncle has never been seen after the abrupt end of the war and is considered dead.
Has briefly considered enrolling in local police before giving all cops a very wide berth and opting to lawless activities instead. Never liked figures of authority.
Realized he was good at acquiring all manners of things and kept doing it while it paid well; found himself enrolled with the rebellion as a result. Sees his role there as kind of a contractor type of thing.
Refuses to deal with 'live cargo' as a matter of principle.

Justice: in the sense that He'd like to bring the former Separatist AND Republic leaders to the swift justice of his blaster.
Could be formulated as revenge for his late uncle.
