Voyla was once an up and coming academic with a bright prospect of entering the medical field. Coming from a middle class merchant family on the ever big republic capital of Coruscant just before the Clone Wars. Thus, she lived a rather comfortable and stable enough life to get them by. Voyla was intelligent and bright from a young age. This made her determined and motivated to improve and secure her own and her family’s affairs and finances as well as provide a lot of good for those in need.

While she had the intellect and ambitious motivation for the scholarship into one of the best medical schools on the planet, the funds she and her family did not. This pushed Voyla to make loans and deals with members of the Banking Clan via the galactic bank that owned the shop where her parents worked in order to pay the money needed to take the degree. With this now in hand she set off to study.

Having gone through most of her education, all of her assets that went to paying her loan were absorbed into imperial funds when the new imperial bank was formed and left Voyla with a large debt to pay and no funds to pay it. Now on her own in order to find a way pay the new debt without involving her family, what better way to pay money quickly than opportunities in the outer rim and beyond? Right? And hopefully before her debt becomes a bounty.

Voyla is as her name implies in Ryl, a soft red toned twi'lek with bright blue eyes. Like a sunrise. Her lekku have black wave patterns running down them and atop her brow sits a simple metal band to separate her face from said lekku. She sports a long, deep blue overcoat that reach her hips with thin red lines that run down the side. Volya buttons the jacket up when she needs to get to work. Underneath her jacket is a simple white v-neck shirt and black leggings with similar black boots, held together by her utility belt which has all her equipment and supplies.

Voyla is bright, friendly, a bit rebellious at times and charming but pragmatic in every sense of the word. Not afraid to use her species’ exotic charm to her advantage or take realistic measures to advancing herself and what she loves to do. She is someone who is more likely to roll with the punches and find a way to live with them rather than try to defeat it outright.
