This is the table and the abilities the correspond to each new transformation that the beast can take.
1. Winged Beast:
This monster is now airborne and gains the Gust attack. It can only use the rending claws and the Gust attack while in this
form. This monster becomes Silhouette 2. No other characteristics are altered. This monster is weak to blast weapons. An
opponent using a weapon with the blast keyword gains 1 blue die to the attack.
2. Blade Guardian:
This monster transforms into a somewhat human form that seems to excel in close combat. This monster can only use the Wraith
Axe and gains the following abilities: Parry 2, Unstoppable (See 13th brother for the details). This monsters ranged and
melee defense are increased by 1. This monster can only ever make 1 maneuver. This monster remains at Silhouette 1
3. Nighthaunt:
This monster transforms into a ghost like human that seems to affect the minds of his enemies. Every player experiences
hallucinations at the beginning of the round in which this monster appeared after which they must make a daunting fear
check. This check can not be downgraded in any way. The enemy suffers 2 strain for every failure and 1 strain for every
disadvantage. If a melee attack is made against this monster, the target performing that attack must make a hard cool check.
If they fail, the attack automatically fails. This monster can only use the Wraith Axe and gains no extra abilities. This
monster remains at Silhouette 1. An opponent using a Burn or Energy weapon gains 1 blue die when attacking this monster. An
opponent using a slug thrower or other scattered shot weapon gains 2 black die to their role.
4. Venom Crawler:
This monster transforms into a spider like creature that has insane reflexes, venomous fangs, and ensnaring webs. This
creature can only use the Rending Claws and gains the Venomous Fangs and Web attacks. This monsters ranged defense is
increased by 1 and its melee defense is decreased by 1. This monster may also suffer 3 strain to perform an immediate
counterattack to an opponent who just performed an attack against it. At the beginning of the round, this monster can take
an immediate free maneuver. This monster is Silhouette 2. It can climb up walls. Any melee attack made against this monster gains 1 blue die. All
other attack suffer 1 black die.
5. Tryannifax:
This monster seems to start to bring forth other swarms of monster from inside of it. At the start of the round: 2 groups of
Green bug swarms spawn. This monster is Silhouette 4. This monster can only use the Rending Claws
to attack. All other monsters spawned in this round disappear at the start of the next round. This monster gains no other
abilities.
6. Storm Surge:
This monster seems manipulate the very objects around it causing them to move in chaotic manners. All players are drawn in
by 1 distance towards the monster from where they normally were. (if a player was at medium, they move to short in the
direction of the monster). All players are only allowed to take 1 maneuver during this round. All other objects are thrown
in random directions up to short range from where they originally were.(use direction die) This monster is Silhouette 1.
This monster can only use the Wraith Axe while in this form.
