Background
W0L-R4M was built as part of a special mercenary security unit developed by Rynn, a Kel-Dor technician, and Larimy, a human ex-soldier turned mercenary, and consisted of the two biologics and a dozen droids with varying programming. Each droid was programmed for specific jobs and Rynn designed the bipedal droid's heads to reflect various predators from different planets. W0L-R4M was fitted with the head of a raquor'daan, or dark wolf, from Sriluur and was programmed with a masculine personality with his primary objectives of stealth, computer manipulation, and data extraction.
The company, Ry-Lar Securities, quickly became popular after the droids successfully rescued hostages taken by a large group of anti-Republic activists. The family of one of the hostages hired the company to infiltrate the resort compound where they were captured and rescue their children. Wolfram, as Rynn nicknamed him, gained the squad access into the main building by hacking the door lock and the team snuck its way through the halls to the main security hub of the compound where the slicer droid hacked into the compound’s main computer. Once in, he disabled the defenses and the rest of the team made its way to eliminate the terrorists.
It happened that Fang Zar, a Galactic Senator, had family members that were some of the hostages. Zar was so thankful and impressed by the actions of Ry-Lar Securities that he made a large monetary contribution. Rynn and Larimy were ecstatic and used the credits to repair and upgrade the droids with their secondary programming to further open the roles of what could be accomplished by each droid. Wolfram was selected to receive a demolitions program. This proved very successful and they earned more and more jobs and so needed to expand their droid inventory. Rynn designed and built another dozen droids and created additional squads of droids, so he had to designate the squads, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma.
Wolfram, now designated Alpha-4, was implanted with a tool kit and programmed for demolitions. He could now get into any location, whether by bypassing security or, if that failed, by blasting a hole through the door or wall. He then was involved with more militaristic missions as the company offered their services for small conflicts and moderate assaults. At this point Rynn stayed in the laboratory and manufacturing plant and left the business decisions to Larimy. Larimy was an aggressive man who loved combat and credits and would take jobs that were not always morally sound. One such offensive was for the Trade Federation against a small upcoming rival who had just ‘stolen’ a contract out from under the greedy Federation.
The Alphas landed on Mimban, were given maps of the terrain and told to assault the headquarters of the Trade Federation’s rival. The Alphas had little trouble navigating the jungle to find their target and quickly set about eliminating the threat. First, Alph-4 infiltrated the building and led the team to the main computer nexus. He then penetrated the firewall and nullified the automated defenses and shut off the perimeter cameras and alarms. The team then proceeded to circumnavigate the building’s lower substructure, the other Alphas providing cover fire after they were discovered, while Alpha-4 planted explosives on key supports. They then evacuated the facility to a predetermined coordinate and Wolfram detonated the explosives, destroying the building with lethal efficiency. The whole operation was recorded via the team’s holo messengers and given to the Trade Federation’s liaison Neimoidian who took it to his superiors. The holo-vid was viewed as a threat to their future operations and plans were started that would eventually spell the end of Ry-Lar Securities.
The company spent the next few years gaining profit and expanding its operations and inventory due to the beginnings of the Clone Wars. After Rynn found out about Larimy’s secret less-than-moral operations he stepped in to put a stop to them. He and Larimy had a falling out and the two split ways with Larimy trying to take half the company and assets with him. There was a minor legal battle that spanned the majority of a year but eventually Rynn was the victor and kept the rights to all of his droids and the company name and assets. Larimy got very little and so went away, resentment and anger rising.
A few short months later Ryn-Lar was attacked by the Techno-Union Army, now a part of the Separatists movement along with the Trade Federation, led by a vengeful Larimy. Larimy wanted control of the company but, under the advisement of the Neimoidians, the Separatists wanted the potential threat eliminated. During the assault Rynn was killed and many of the droids were destroyed. Larimy was dismayed at the Techno-Union’s battle droids destroying his livelihood he pleaded with the leaders to let him integrate his company into the movement and they agreed. During Larimy’s pleading, Wolfram was able to construct a small but powerful explosive and detonate it, destabilizing the entire building causing it to crash down upon them, burying everything.
After a couple of days the Republic rescue crew found Wolfram, damaged but intact, buried in the rubble and turned him over to the Jedi overseers. He was reactivated, inspected, analyzed and repaired. Do to the damage to him all record of the attack on Ryn-Lar was unrecoverable to substantiate his story of what happened. He was deemed useful and was added to the Republic’s war effort and assigned to a clone squad which included the as of yet un-promoted CT-9525.

Description
Wolfram stands at the average human height of 1.8 meters at the tip of his ears and most initially mistake him to be a biologic in armor. His chassis consists of dull silver plates with blue accents and black or dark gray flexible coverings at the joints. These armored plates give him the appearance of a bipedal humanoid in laminate armor with a specialized helmet. He is well armed with a heavy blaster on his right hip, a vibroknife on the left hip, and numerous frag and plasma grenades clipped on his torso. When needed, his left forearm can flip open to extend a computer access probe and multiple panels can open to reveal a plethora of tools.
