Rhandir was never satisfied. Not from the moment he was born, under his parent's watchful eyes, or under the weight of what was expected of him by them or his society. Something else called to him, telling him he was meant to be out there, in the stars, and he would never be content in one place. The first opportunity he got, he snuck aboard a trader ship and fled his homeworld, never to return.

He had never heard of the Force or Jedi on his homeworld, but as soon as he did he knew it had been the Force calling to him. He was crushed to discover he was not force sensitive, but he did not let it stop him. He heard its call, and no snooty jedi in a robe was going to tell him he couldn't hear it. He worked on ships until he earned enough to buy his own, then struck out to follow the call, in search of whatever lore he could find.

Eventually, his wanderings brought him to Jedha, where the Guardians welcomed him without judgement. They understood the calling he heard, and didn't care whether or not the jedi said he was force sensitive. They taught him to hone himself, body and spirit, to be the best vessel for the calling he heard. He raced through the training, completing the 7th duan as quickly as he could, and assembling his lightbow. However, he did not stay on Jedha to assume the duties of a Guardian. He had learned all he could from them. He took up his bow and the staff they had taught him to fight with, and returned to his ship, hidden in the ruins outside the city, and went back out in the stars. Jedha is the only place he regrets leaving, for he broke oaths he swore when he left there, and left friends behind, but the call was greater than one place.

Today, he continues to follow it, out in the stars. He takes cargo when the jobs follow his path, and odd jobs when it doesn't, but only enough to keep the ship running and himself fed, in that order. Everywhere he goes he searches for lore about the force and the jedi and anyone else who uses it.

Faith: The Cosmic Force (F&D 107)

Rhandir wears a standard tognath environmental bodysuit he has dyed a traditional blue/black, with red detailing on the shoulder and chest straps that bind his breather pack to his back. Over the pack he wears an coat that is red on one side and the same blue/black on the other. it is reversible, and he tends to wear the black when he is trying to blend in, and the red when he wants to advertise his status as a Guardian.

His lightbow and staff are made of the same materials, a pale, dull gray metal. the staff is somewhere between a full bow staff and a walking stick in the length. It conceals a vibroblade inside, but to date he has never used it. When he is on a new world, he carries the staff like a walking stick. He rarely carries his lightbow with him unless he expect to use it.
