After a youth wasted in the undercity of Nar Shaddaa, Dal Artan was looking for something more stable in his life. A few years of wandering around the galaxy later, and he found an entry position in the security services of Korchet's government. It turned out that the intrigues between corporations on this planet were all too similar to those of criminal syndicates, but the perks were nicer and the living situations cushier. Dal quickly found patronage under Batton Kor, a rising star in the security service whose quick instincts and congenial attitude led to his appointment as Head of Extraplanetary Security only a few year later. Unfortunately, Batton suffered a debilitating injury in the line of duty, forcing him to saddle much of the responsibilities of his position onto his new deputy, and Dal was only too eager to prove himself to his mentor, and the rest of the planetary government...

Dutybound - As Deputy Head of Extraplanetary Security, Dal Artan not only has to answer to his immediate superior, but liaison with the several corporate interests that are the financial power on Korchet, along with keeping the politicians up to date with any notable occurings going on off planet. On easy days this is just keeping up with the newsfeeds, but when almost anything could affect corporate interests...
