Background
1) How did you discover your force sensitivity?
- Once a resarcher at the Kaminoan cloning facilities, Ciwah's daily duties often consisted of her overseeing the countless growing subjects. It was here, caring for them, that she first sensed she had a deeper connection to them, and seemingly other living beings and beyond.
2)Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.
- Having cared for a batch of clones for a long time, orders suddenly came from higher ups that Ciwah was to terminate a project as a client had failed to pay for the order. She dutifully followed her command, but the wave of death that followed and the void after left her horrified, ultimately contributing to her decision to leave Kamino.
3)How did you come to join the NJO?
- While working at her medical clinic in Hutt Space, rumours reached her of an organization training in the Force. Around the same time rumours reached her that the local Hutt had expressed interest in her as well. Curiosity peaked, and the heat from the Hutt family getting closer, Ciwah decided it would be her best bet to search this organization out.
4) Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with.
- Evak Wor, Ciwah's mentor who taught her nearly everything she knows about science and medicine. He is the only one Ciwah ever confided about her powers before leaving Kamino.
Comfortable with Tech: Coming from Kamino, working with genetic engineering, Ciwah is quite comfortable around tech of all kinds, still often trusting it more than the Force.
Pragmatic Power: Coming from a background of science and logic, Ciwah cannot explain the Force as anything more than a natural force, like any force in the universe. The fact that she is more in touch to it is simply a genetic flaw, but she doubts that it is actually guiding her.
Desire for Understanding: How and why she came in touch with the Force has been a mystery this entire time, one that she wishes to figure out. At the same time she senses there is more to this Force than what she has already seen.
Motivation
Cause:
Enlightenment: Ciwah, like other Kaminoans, always strive to better herself and push herself to her limits. This includes these strange Force powers that she's seemingly connected to.
Morality
Morality: 50
Independence: From keeping her secret on Kamino, to trying to survive in Hutt space with a small medical clinic, Ciwah has always trusted herself to keep her safe. She is a genetic unpredictability to her kind, and aliens only know greed.
Coldness: Self-reliance can slip into isolation if one is not careful. A cold character doesn't just desire to rely only on herself, but has nothing but disinterest for anyone else. If they can’t help themselves, why should she aid them?
Description
Born on Kamino 3 ABY, Ciwah Sal was of the golden eye caste, bred to work more skilled labor. Once she was old enough to work, she was assigned to the cloning facilities, to develop and care for clones commissioned from Out of System clients. It was here she was put under Evak Wor's guidance and leadership, her superior and her mentor.
She worked dutifully for years, growing quite adept under Evak's tuitition. However, one day she noticed something different. As she worked on her subjects, she started to feel a stronger and stronger connection to them. Not the one of motherly love or empathy perhaps, but she swore she started to sense the subjects' base feelings, and if they were under duress or if something wasn't right. As she started to listen to these senses, she let it guide her. And these clones she helped produce were noted to be surprisingly strong.
She was quite confused about this connection she seemed to have to the subjects and eventually approached Evak about them. The look of the older male Kaminoan said a lot, a look of disgust, as if he was staring right at something alien. Then he simply told her that it would be best if she kept this secret to herself.
It was around this time the an order came through to cancel their latest cloning project. The commission hadn't been paid, and thusly it was decided to reset the work in order to take another client. Ciwah was ordered to terminate the subjects, which she dutifully did. The wave of death that hit her left her stunned, horrified.
She left Kamino not many weeks after.
Unsure what to do, Ciwah eventually found herself in Hutt Space. She managed to find work at a small medical clinic, keeping out of sight as she started to figure out just what enabled her to feel others like she did. Experimenting with this force, she started to note she could read other aliens' emotions as well, not just those of her clone subjects. On her free time she also tried to do some reading, this is where the the Force first appeared on her radar as a possibility. But it was impossible to actually know.
She lived like this for a couple of more years until she was reached by a rumour that the mythical Jedis had been seen again, and eventually she overheard the news about the New Jedi Order as well, apparently an organization training these Jedis. Around the same time she also heard from a coworker that the local Hutt lord had been curious in the Kaminoan.
Not wishing to work for a Hutt, if that was what it wanted, Ciwah decided to follow up on the rumour about the New Jedi Order, and to search them out.
Appearance:
20 years of age and about 2.1 m tall, Ciwah looks like your usual Kaminoan. Tall and slender, with an almost luminescent pale white skin. Her eyes are striking golden, signifying what caste she belonged to back on Kamino.
