Sugun was a Miralukan Brought to the Jedi Order on Coruscant when he was 4 years old. He trained to become a Jedi Consular, living an already shelted lifestyle increased with his fascination of the higher mysteries of the force. After completing his Padawan trials, He was assigned to Jedi Master Vrook, learning the ways of the Jedi under him for about 5 years, silently nodding along Vrook's stern teachings, learning much about lightsaber combat and the higher mysteries, adopting a Form 6 lightsaber style in combination with his natural Miralukan force sight to let the force flow through and throughout him, becoming a very capable Jedi Padawan, almost marked for knighthood.

During the start of the Mandolorian Wars, the young Sugun was conflicted, The way of the jedi is to help people, but to merely let star systems burn in response to the invasion was not very... in line with his teachings. Vrook essentially told him to trust in the council's wisdom, and that there is a larger threat beyond their reach. Unable to go against the council's wishes, but unable to sit by and not help, Sugun requested leave of order to go to Ord Mantell, stating that he felt the force calling him there. In reality, he wanted to help the survivors of the Mandolorian crusade, coming across the war torn battlefields and meeting a Human Female doctor named Tatalin Atath. They grew very close, helping survivors and establishing a medical colony that would strive to help others in need. Tatalin's wonderful personality, compassionate nature, and ecstatic genius was just the perfect person he truely needed. The force brought him to Tatalin, and they married soon after, Becoming Sugun Atath, and bore 2 daughters, Tiana and Fehis creating the happy Atath family, with 2 Humans and 2 Miralukas, both children being force sensitives. Segun taught Fehis and Tiana his Jedi training over the years.

On Tiana's 16 birthday, it would be normally a cause for celebration for the 2 parents, if news of the Jedi Civil War were not circulating in full force, with the galaxy fearing the new emergence of the Sith. A republic Military force went to Ord Mantell against the wishes of Tatalin and Sugun's Medical team in order to provide protection to it's inhabitants and a stronger defensive position against the seemingly unending Sith Armada. Sugar found out that his former Master, Vrook was leading this defence force, and spurred on to protect his family, Sugun Talked with his former master, trying to convince him in all his power to leave Ord Mantell, with the republic military force, as it would certainly attract the attention of the Sith. Unnervingly and frustationingly hypocritical, defending his position to the last, Vrook told Sugun that it was out of his hands, the Republic admirals and Jedi convinced that this was their best move in order to protect the Core Worlds and the republic at large. Frustrated with the course of events, and haunted by visions of battle in his sleep, Sugun spoke with his wife Tatalin, saying that war was coming to Ord Mantell and that they should leave, if anything for the safety of the children. Agreeing that the children should at least be safe, They agreed in the morning that they would send the children away offworld, arranging transportation for the children to be sent to Coruscant.

However, Sugun never knew if their children would make it there, as the following morning, War was brought to Ord Mantell, With turbo lasers blazing onto the starport, devastating the city. Sugun was trapped underneath rubble with Tatalin for most of the fighting, almost starving to death. With Tatalin growing weaker far beyond both their aid,Tatalin died in Sugun's arms. after the fighting was over, he was rescued by Master Vrook, taking the starved ex-Padawan to a medical facility, where he was nursed back to health. But the damage was already done. After he was fit and able, he tried to look at the records of departure to see if his children made it safely, but they were destroyed in the battle. He couldn't find his dearest Tiana or Fehis anywhere. Overcome by despair, and unable to come to terms with what he has lost, He swore that another tragedy such as this can never happen again.

"This...War between the Republic and Sith, should never have been brought here. Both sides equally share the fault, but the Republic decided to sacrifice the lives of so many merely to hold out and buy time. Buy time for the core world scum that live in lavish wealth and sloth, spoiled beyond compare! Tell me, Master, Where is the Justice in this? Someone MUST be held accountable, otherwise this is doomed to happen throughout history!" Vowing to make things right, swearing upon the gravestone of his wife that he will have vengeance. That the Republic, that those bastards that continue to exist at the top, probably living ignorant of the war and suffering going on across the galaxy, Must fall. It must fall so that a new system can be put in place, a system where the Jedi can direct the course of the galaxy, and not be mere servants to a power that cares not for others. The Dead must have their tribute.

Hating himself on the path that he has to embark upon, but not seeing any other way he could complete his goal, Sugun left Ord Mantell, Traveled to the ancient Sith Homeworld of Korriban, and enlisted in the Sith Academy, as an Acolyte. He knew what this meant for him, for his path. But what else could he do? Change must be brought, and what better way to bring it, then as a bringer of conflict, as a Sith? Just as the Sith brought this realisation to me, I will bring this realisation to the Galaxy, The Death of the Republic, and the Ascension of the Jedi as not merely an order, but a Government, a Force that can see the correct action that needs to be taken, to bring Peace,Order to a painful galaxy. To create a Painless Galaxy.

Revenge: At some point in the character’s past, he was brutally wronged. Now he seeks vengeance, and he has a hard time focusing on anything else.

Stop the Republic: The Republic is an corrupt system that does more harm than good in the galaxy. It must be overthrown so greater tragedies do not occur, and the Jedi can stop being puppets of a slothful system that only benefits the rich and comfortable sitting in the core worlds. Sugun may not like the Sith, but he hates the Republic more, and wants to see it stopped.

Justice: The character strives for just and deliberate actions in his life, and in his interactions with others. He attempts to make the objectively right choice every time, knowing that justice is more likely to guarantee positive outcomes than sympathy or other emotional displays.


Cruelty: All too often, the cruel use justice to excuse their actions. If one stops himself from tempering justice with empathy and understanding, he can inflict great harm on others and feel justified doing it. Eventually, he can grow to revel in the suffering of others, even as he deludes himself into thinking he makes the "just" choice.
