Background
1. How did you discover your force sensitivity?
I spent my childhood working in a nameless cantina as an indentured busboy. I first discovered I could concentrate on cups causing them to explode as a preteen. Kept it a secret for several months. During an incident when dishes were thrown at him by his owner, he stopped the dishes mid-air, purely on instinct, in front of a large crowd in his cantina.
2. Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.
As a slave, frequently was tasked with menial labor. Before I consciously recognized my abilities, I would unwittingly channel the force to clean the cantina I worked in after hours. I generally blacked out during thsee incidents and would wake up early the next morning with no recollection. After consciously recognizing my abilities, I began to understand my complicated relationship with the force (sometimes it guides my actions without much voluntary choice).
3. How did you come to join the NJO?
Upon recognizing that something was serioiusly wrong with me, I set out to understand why I was different. I was told of an ancient Order that had nearly been made extinct and was reborn in the ashes of the Empire, and sought them out on Yavin IV.
4. Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival.
I have a strong connection with my big sister who is force sensitive, but in a different way. I haven't seen her for over 20 years and I don't know whether she's alive or not.
5. [Optional] Describe a pivotal moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.
Most of my life I wanted nothing more than to run my own Cantina. One thing led to another and my abilities led to... well lets just say that I had an opportunity to take over as management after decades enslaved to the bar's former owners. Ultimately I was presented with a choice: settle down and live a full life satisfying mediocre ambitions, or choose to search for a life of greater import, and risk failure.
