Donor Kyla was born on Dathomir his family being a Dathomirian Zabrak named Danor and a Dathomirian named Kaly, the first being the father and second being the mother respectively.

His parents were both from Dathomir having escaped a shortly before the decimation of the Night Sisters while Donor'van was in his Infancy, they escaped to Iridonia the Homeworld of the Zabrak.

As a child Donor grew up grew up in poverty hearing stories of strength and magic from his mother and father and how brutal it was growing up on Dathomir, these stories thrilled and excited Donor.

When Donor came of age (when his horns grew) he needed funds to help him and his family rise out of poverty and the army offered great benefits to those who enlisted so he joined an Iridonian Youth program meant to train them them for the Iridonian army but much to his parent's dismay this program was in truth an Imperial ploy to send all potential force sensitives to an Imperial Inquisition camp.

His training there was brutal to try and bring out the force in each child torture, pain and betrayal was actively encouraged amongst disciples which Donor despised, for every betrayal his contemporaries inflicted upon him he would be further tortured by his mentors to try and bring his anger to fruition, he would frequently beat his fellow disciples but only if they had once betrayed him none beating him in physical combat.

After 2 years he was known as the strongest amongst the disciples yet his force had never awakened as he never truly fell into the trap of hatred once this was known he was considered a reject by his mentors and was set to be killed by the other disciples who had awakened the force in a demonstration meant to show the others that strength is meaningless before hatred and the force, but one mentor still saw potential within him.

On the third year of his training he was brought by his mentor Kulkor Asodious to demonstrate his strength against another disciple named Salvin unbeknownst to Donor that Salvin had already awakened the force and was told by his mentor (Ulon Furos) to finally kill Donor and show everyone the superiority of hatred, as they dueled Donor's skill far outmatched Salvin yet he could never catch as if he had become faster than him, Salvin would taunt Donor and tell him how worthless him and his ilk were in a moment of weakness Donor lost his cool and allowed Salvin to trip him throw him against a wall, confused and dazed Donor began to choke, bewildered Donor desperately ghasped and clawed for air but he had already fallen for Salvin's trap falling unconscious Donor saw how evil Salvin had become his smirk always remaining in his mind.

Donor awoke not realizing why he was alive, his mentor Kulkor had somehow prevented the force from taking his life, Kulkor instructed him on how to escape the planet telling him to hide on an imperial shipment leaving this hellish camp, Kulkor told Donor that he should remember this favor and that he would one day find him and call upon it at his own discretion.
